Syria killings spark protest in Chenab Valley | KNO

Scores of Muslim in Chenab Valley staged a peaceful protest demonstration expressing solidarity with the victims of ongoing crisis in Syria, a Western Asia country.

The protest was staged shortly after the culmination of Friday congregational prayers under the banner of Anjuman Islamia Bhaderwah. The protesters displayed banners seeking public support for Syria and world nations to condemn the ongoing genocide. While talking to reporters, the AIB president Parvaiz Ahmed Shaikh , National Human Rights Social Council of Justice district Doda in charge Najmus Saqib , social activist Reyaz Ahmed Najar, Adil Ganei, Javeed Shora and others said there is an urgent need for the world to respond to the humanitarian crisis in Syria.

The country has been devastated by civil war. The protesters also castigated those who carry out rallies in Kathua in favour of rape and murder accused in little nomad girl Asifa. They hailed Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for not transferring the case to CBI.
